Michael Wayne Corbitt Sr

Mr. Michael W. Corbitt, age 65, of Jonesboro, Georgia was heavenly healed Sunday, January 28, 2024.

Mike was born in Atlanta, Georgia to parents Barney and Betty Corbitt. He was preceded in death by both parents and sister, Donna Jane “Tiny” Hooper.

Survivors include his son Michael Wayne Corbitt, Jr. (Lisa) and daughter Cynthia Corbitt (Greg) and five grandchildren. Mike will be missed by his beloved siblings Barney Corbitt Jr. of St. Pauls, NC, Sherry Advincula (Bernie) of Fayetteville, Georgia and his favorite sister and best friend, Amy Corbitt of Jonesboro, Georgia, a host of nieces and nephews and many cousins. Mike was loved unconditionally by his chosen son Junior (Sweet Thang).

Mike had many friends and family that loved him dearly. He was a lifelong fan of wrestling, The Beverly Hillbillies, The Andy Griffith Show, and he loved music. His hobbies included auto repair, gardening, and hummingbirds.

Visitation for Mike will be Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, followed by a memorial service in the Chapel.
